What changed
Two lenses capture nearly everything around the camera. Software stitches those views into a sphere, and the editor selects a normal rectangular view from inside it.
Why it matters
One recording can become a wide shot, a close follow and a vertical social clip. For unpredictable movement, that can replace repeated takes or extra operators.
The part to watch
Reframing still needs deliberate camera placement. Distance, light and movement matter, and aggressive crops reduce detail. The technology does not remove composition; it moves composition later.
