Introducing Chroma

Chroma is a local-first, AI-assisted imaging platform from Nimalthas Imaging Enhancers. It exists because of a simple, frustrating truth: most of the time creators spend editing is not creative.

Why we built it

Talk to any working photographer and you hear the same story. The shoot is the good part. Then come the hours: culling, correcting, balancing, repeating the same technical fixes across hundreds of frames before a single creative decision gets made. The craft is real, but most of that time is friction, not art.

Chroma is our answer. It uses intelligent analysis to handle the repetitive technical layer of editing, and it hands you an image that is already standing, so your time goes into making it yours.

Assistance, not replacement

We hold a firm line on what the AI in Chroma is for. It proposes; it never imposes. Every automated decision lands as an ordinary, visible, reversible adjustment. There is no locked black-box output and no house style forced onto your work. If you disagree with the machine, you win, instantly.

Chroma runs on your machine. Your images are not uploaded to be processed, and your creative work does not live on someone else's server. This is partly about privacy and entirely about respect: your work is yours, including while you edit it.

Where this goes

Chroma is the first system from Nimalthas Imaging Enhancers, and color is where we chose to start, not where we intend to stop. The longer vision is a small ecosystem of local-first imaging tools that share one belief: creators should spend their time on the final image, not on the steps in front of it.
